We are currently looking for a seasoned Controller to join our fast paced team that is quickly expanding.
Project Accounting Responsibilities:
- Collect invoices from subs & vendors, input into QB (review with Project Managers/ Superintendents)
- Posting expense and sales transactions in QB relative to projects
- Cost-Coding: categorizing expenses and costs of goods sold
- Compare project spending against project budget
- Complete project payment applications, submit to clients
- Create Payables Report – review for approval to cut checks
- Cut checks and distribute – Subcontractors, Vendors, Suppliers
- Collect and Maintain Lien Waivers – Subcontractors & Suppliers
- Collect and Maintain W9 & Insurance - Subcontractors
- Develop, implement and maintain financial goals and guidelines
- Provide comprehensive financial updates to management by evaluating, analyzing and reporting appropriate data points
General Tasks:
- Review A/P and A/R
- Maintain: Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Profit & Loss
- Cash forecasting
- Account reconciliations
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Client & Subcontractor communications
- Journal entries
- Posting bills
- Tax preparation
- Audit preparations
- Payroll processing
- Company Insurance: maintain, keep updated
- Set-up & maintain accounts & leases
- Mortgage/Rent Payments
- Utility Payments (Office, Workshop, rentals)
- Vehicles: payments, insurance, registration
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
