Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Superintendent to join our construction team. The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes
- Manage and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
- Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in construction estimating, quality control, and contract administration
- Familiarity with construction software such as Primavera, Prolog, or ProCore is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a diverse team
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including blueprints and specifications
- Experience in budgeting and cost control
