The Green Pineapple team is growing again! We are looking for full- time Sales Associate for our team!
The Green Pineapple is a collection of sustainable and eco-conscious Key West boutiques, including a wellness café and yoga studio on upper Duval Street in Key West. We are making decisions and promoting brands based upon ethical practices and considerations and a respect for the environment. We believe that advocating for sustainability and transparency in our brands and their suppliers is on us.
Job summary:
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a boutique setting, attending to customer needs and preferences while demonstrating a fun, friendly and approachable personality. The Sales Associate will also need to demonstrate knowledge of all Green Pineapple brand offerings and to share that knowledge and philosophy with clients. Duties and functions:
- Demonstrating excellent customer service on the boutique floor during the entire shift
- Ensuring the customer is always a priority
- Demonstrating knowledge of boutique offerings and brands
- Informing customers with additional programs and services, such as Loyalty Rewards program, seasonal events, Yoga schedule etc.
- Managing the boutique area with continuous restocking and organizing,
- Maintaining boutique cleanliness
- Maximizing boutique productivity
- Performing all POS functions,
- Assisting with inventory and boutique merchandising
- Assisting the Managers with additional assigned tasks
Requirements:
- Friendly, helpful, engaging and spirited personality
- Basic understanding of sales and customer service practices
- Basic administration skills, numerical accuracy, and cash management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Proven working experience in retail sales is a plus
- Knowledge of Lightspeed POS system is a plus
- High school degree
- Ability to stand during the entire shift
- Being able to carry and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
