ILU Collective is looking for an experienced, part-time laser professional to join our growing medspa in Coral Gables ✨
We’re seeking someone confident, personable, and passionate about aesthetics who prioritizes patient safety, delivers thoughtful care, and builds lasting client relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform laser hair removal and, where permitted by your professional license and scope, laser tattoo removal under appropriate medical supervision.
- Use the Candela GentleMax Pro and Candela PicoWay according to approved treatment protocols.
- Review patient history, recognize contraindications, and communicate concerns to the supervising medical provider.
- Educate clients about treatment expectations, preparation, and aftercare.
- Maintain accurate treatment records, clinical photographs, and progress notes.
- Support treatment package sales, rebooking, and client retention.
- Maintain treatment room cleanliness, equipment care, and laser safety standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active, unrestricted Florida electrologist license with documented qualifications for laser and light-based hair removal, or another Florida healthcare license whose scope permits the assigned procedures.
- Completion of the applicable Florida-required laser education and examination/certification pathway.
- Hands-on experience with both Candela GentleMax Pro and Candela PicoWay required.
- For tattoo removal duties, a professional license and scope of practice that permit laser tattoo removal; an electrologist license alone is insufficient.
- Strong knowledge of skin types, contraindications, laser safety, and pre- and post-treatment care.
- Friendly, professional, dependable, and comfortable recommending appropriate treatment packages.
- Ability to work within physician-directed protocols and applicable supervision requirements.
