Junior through Senior level Consultants provide on and off-site service to clients in the areas of capital campaigns, pre-campaign studies, comprehensive development programs and executive search. Positions available for full-time, and project-related services.
Junior level positions provide support of firm's executive team members.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparation of operational materials for pre-campaign studies including questionnaires, gift charts, preliminary case statement
- Conducting interviews and focus groups for pre-campaign studies
- Review, analysis and segmentation of donor/prospect database
- Data tabulation and creation of PowerPoint presentations
- Drafting a wide-range of client materials including direct mail/solicitations, brochures/case statements, study reports, speaking points, agendas and report meetings
- On-scene counsel to clients
- Training and support of volunteers and staff
- Creation and monitoring of project timelines
- Conducting meetings as well as small to mid-size group presentations
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
- Track record of proven advancement accomplishments in the non-profit sector (Senior Associate level)
- Astute attention to detail and the ability to think creatively and strategically
- Flexible, skilled problem-solver and self-starter
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media and familiarity with database management
- Mid-Atlantic based with flexibility for both regional driving and air travel
