This position is for the PM shift (3PM - 11PM).
Skills
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
- Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load.
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
- Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine. Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
- Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load
- Greet all guests with a proper greeting.
- Launder all dirty towels.
- Fold towels and stock them on shelves.
- Accountable for the pick-up and delivery of guest laundry with proper logging procedures.
- Clear the laundry chute of any dirty linen.
- Stock amenity table for afternoon.
- Report any damages, hazards, repairs, and strangers in assigned areas.
- Return any items found in guestrooms, hallways, or back of the house to the lost and found.
- Quickly respond to guest requests in a timely and friendly manner.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in housekeeping/customer service or similar role.
