As an Area Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations within your designated region, ensuring that all deliveries are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will lead a team of General Managers and coordinate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery and drive customer satisfaction.
- Manage and mentor delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance. Conduct regular training and development sessions.
- Oversee logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to company policies and safety standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data, and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and productivity. -
- Assist in budget planning and management, ensuring resources are optimized and financial targets are met.
- Work closely with other departments, including warehouse operations and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation. - **Reporting:** Prepare and present regular reports on performance metrics, operational challenges, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of management experience in logistics, delivery, or a related industry. - Strong leadership skills with a track record of successful team management. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area as needed.
