Join Our Team as a Damage Estimator – Special Lines Products!
Are you an expert in estimating damages for RVs, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles? We're hiring for a role that involves handling insurance claims and estimates, with a mix of field and desk work. Candidates should have strong skills in time management, organization, and stress handling. The job is based in Florida or North Carolina, with possible travel during storm seasons. Licensing is not required but beneficial, and candidates should be familiar with CCC, Duncan (RV), and Adjustrire (Commercial) software.
Job Summary
Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for Special lines products (RV, Motorcycle, Commercial Vehicle) 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as a peer mentor having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
- Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
- Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
Education
- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
- 3 or more years of experience (Preferred) with Special lines products
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This job does not have supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $30.38 - 41.59 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
