As a Dairy Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and freshness of dairy products while providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for stocking, organizing, and maintaining the dairy section of our store or café. Responsibilities
- Stock and rotate dairy products to ensure freshness and quality.
- Assist customers with inquiries about dairy products and provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dairy section.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, if required.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the department.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when necessary.
- Perform bussing duties to keep the area tidy and organized.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, grocery store, or café setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively.
- Must be able to lift and move products as necessary for stocking and cleaning purposes.
