Job Overview
We are seeking out fun, hard working people to join our team at Chubbs Key West. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent food services and sales within a fast paced mobile street food cart. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, sales, meeting new people and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness within the mobile food carts. This is a very phyically active job requiring some heavy lifting and being able to stand outside for long periods of time. We have multiple positions available between hotdog and taco carts. Hours for each cart and location are different. Day time from 10am-5:30 Afternoon 2-8 and Night 7/8-4am. Please note this job is commission paid job.
Duties
- Assist in the setup and breakdown and moving of mobile food carts.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient hand over at shift change times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Previous experience in sales is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to achieve.
- Certification in food safety or handling is a plus but not required.
- Driving license required for this position.
