As a Traveling Superintendent, you will be accountable for the entire construction process by providing knowledge, skill and experience to run day-to-day operations on the job site. The top priority is field coordination, working closely with the Subcontractor(s) to ensure quality and workmanship meet industry standards. The daily direction and coordination of the project by the Superintendent ensures the work is carried out safely, correctly, within budget and on schedule. Strong preference to candidates located in Florida, Georgia, or Carolinas.
Responsibilities:
- Project Supervision: Manage and supervise all aspects of construction projects, from start to finish, ensuring they are executed efficiently and according to the established plans, specifications, and budget.
- Site Management: Oversee construction site, coordinating activities, and ensuring that construction progress is on track.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the construction process, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds industry standards and project requirements.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, taking into account various factors like material deliveries, manpower, and weather conditions, to ensure timely project completion.
- Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and best practices on all construction sites, minimizing workplace accidents and injuries.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the construction process, finding creative solutions to keep the project on track.
- Cost Control: Monitor project expenses, keeping within budgetary constraints and seeking cost-saving opportunities where possible.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and permits required for each construction project.
- Travel: Be willing and available to travel extensively as needed to oversee construction activities.
- The ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus, to facilitate effective communication with bilingual team members and clients.

We take into account various factors when determining appropriate compensation, including but not limited to the specific responsibilities of the job, level of education, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities possessed by the candidate. Our aim is to ensure fair and competitive compensation packages for all our valued team members.
