Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join a small boutique firm located in Ocean Reef, Key Largo, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate closings, document preparation and real estate title insurance work.
- Prepare legal documents for estate planning, wills and trusts.
- Manage case files and ensure all documents are properly organized and filed in accordance with legal standards.
- Assist attorneys with project management tasks to ensure timely completion of legal projects.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
- Familiarity with real estate closings, title searches and associated processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
