What You’ll Do:
Temco Logistics is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help lead a brand new platform! If you thrive in environments where you can drive change, solve operational challenges, and support new site launches, this role is for you. As an Operations Manager, you’ll drive daily operations to ensure timely, high-quality service, and collaborate closely to optimize processes. You’ll:
- Oversee Daily Metrics & Reporting: Manage key performance metrics (P4P) and provide timely reports to the General Manager.
- Troubleshoot & Innovate: Address operational challenges, including customer escalations and daily troubleshooting, especially in the evolving environment of a growing site.
- Lead & Motivate the Team: Coach your team to meet and exceed goals in metrics like handheld compliance and completion rate, fostering a customer-first mindset.
- Coordinate Resources: Work with various supervisors to ensure accurate forecasting and planning for daily delivery needs, and adapt workflows as necessary.
- Drive Process Improvements: Use insights from operations to streamline processes, refine approaches, and support monthly P&L goals.
- Optimize Routing and Scheduling: Utilize routing software to ensure efficient trucking schedules, coordinate daily delivery routes, and adjust plans as needed to meet operational demands.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in Operations or Logistics Management, ideally with experience in pilot sites, new launches, or environments with evolving systems.
- Strong knowledge of the home appliance industry (installation and servicing).
- Experience with routing software and trucking logistics to optimize delivery efficiency and support operational goals is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).
- Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred.
