Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the café's POS system, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling standards to provide safe products to customers.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages or issues to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a café or food industry setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with Square or similar cash handling systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.

Pay: $18.15 - $22.00 per hour
