Responsibilities:
- Support the Warehouse Manager in operations, including materials management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to optimize warehouse operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Utilize AS400 or similar systems to track inventory, manage orders, and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse operations management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of materials management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with demand planning, dispatching, and operations management is a plus.
