Job Summary
Shipped Rec Cannabis, located on Duval Street in Key West, is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Budtender (Retail Sales Associate) to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be the face of our shop, providing exceptional service while assisting customers with their purchases.
Your responsibilities will include welcoming and guiding customers through our wide selection of cannabis lifestyle products, managing transactions, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and ensuring every guest enjoys a positive shopping experience. You will also be responsible for upholding store standards and following all company policies.
The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a passion for cannabis culture and retail, and the ability to create a friendly, professional, and engaging environment. Both part-time and seasonal positions are available.Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items and promotions.
- Upsell products to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked.
- Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing, discounts, and change calculations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a positive shopping environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with cannabis is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
