Join our team and help protect one of Key West’s premier residential communities. We’re seeking professional, courteous, and observant individuals to serve as unarmed security officers for a gated HOA. This role includes both gatehouse monitoring and mobile patrol duties across all three shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access at the gatehouse
- Verify visitors, vendors, and residents using established protocols
- Conduct mobile patrols throughout the property to ensure safety and compliance
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents or emergencies
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
- Communicate clearly with residents, supervisors, and emergency services
- Enforce HOA rules and regulations with professionalism
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a Florida State Guard License (Class "D" License)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (for patrol duties)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Comfortable working outdoors and on foot or in a vehicle
- Prior security experience preferred but not required
