Overview
As a Baker, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality baked goods that meet our standards for taste and presentation. This position requires a commitment to food safety and hygiene, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Overnight Schedule is from 1 AM to 9 AM.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and techniques.
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent results.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Work along side Baker to create custom orders for events and special occasions.
- Other duties assigned by your manager or owner.
Experience
- Previous experience as a baker or in a commercial kitchen preferred.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, tools, and food safety practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
