Job Overview:
Leo’s Campground is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Groundskeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the campground grounds and facilities. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in landscaping, general maintenance, and basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow lawns, trim edges, and perform weed eating throughout the property.
- Maintain clean and orderly grounds, including trash pickup, leaf removal, and debris control.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks as needed, such as fixing fences, benches, or structures.
- Assist with campground improvement projects (e.g., small construction, painting, signage).
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems
- Conduct basic electrical work, troubleshooting power issues.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems preferred.
- Ability to safely operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other power tools.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
