Join our vibrant golf course team as a Golf Customer Service Attendant and Course Ranger! In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, ensures their experience is enjoyable and seamless, and maintains the order of the course. Your energetic presence will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. Whether assisting with tee times, managing guest inquiries, or patrolling the course , your enthusiasm and professionalism will shine through every interaction. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hospitality skills while working in a beautiful outdoor setting. Gratuities will be earned and there is also a $500 per month housing stipend provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, while providing excellent customer service .
- Assist guests as they are getting ready to for their tee times. Help them with their clubs, getting them situated on their golf cart, organizing them in order of the reservation sheet and introducing them to their playing partners.
- Ensure that all golf carts are clean, free of debris and ready for guest use.
- Ensure that rental clubs are clean, organized and ready for guest use.
- Ensure that the club storage room is clean, and bags are stored properly.
- Ensure that the driving range balls are picked up at the end of the day.
- Patrol the course regularly to monitor pace of play, enforce course rules, and assist players with any issues or concerns
- Address conflicts or disputes professionally and diplomatically to maintain a positive environment for all guests
Skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Strong communication abilities including public speaking to address groups or provide instructions confidently
- Experience working at a golf course or having general golf knowledge is certainly helpful
- Knowledge of hospitality standards typical in resort environments to enhance guest experiences
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a lively outdoor setting
