Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Leasing Agent for the Lofts at Bahama Village to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the property management team in maintaining high standards of property upkeep and tenant satisfaction. This position requires a strong understanding of property management practices, including Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC, and proficiency in various software applications related to property management.
Duties
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and LIHTC regulations.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee work orders using Yardi, Rent Cafe, and Site Manager software.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate tenant records.
- Support the leasing process by conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi, Rent Cafe, and Site Manager for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the property management team to develop strategies for improving occupancy rates and tenant retention.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing and LIHTC regulations is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and file management.
- Proficient in using property management software such as Yardi, Rent Cafe, and Site Manager; experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with tenants and team members.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
