JOB TITLE: Vacation Rental rooms Inspector
REPORTING STRUCTURE: Director of Rental Operations / General Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Historic Key West Vacation Rentals is seeking a friendly , service-oriented unit inspector to joy our team. In this position will require inspecting rentals after a guest departments and once unit is cleaned. Assist guests and operation team with other duties when needed.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Perform home inspections after cleaning according to protocol.
- Perform home inspection after guest departure for lost items or damages that must be reported.
- Perform home inspection during vacancy periods
- Ability to assist guest with their needs to create the best guest experience
- Notify management of any serious issues that cannot be resolved.
- Communicate effectively with all departments and vendors as necessary
- Contract outside professional services when necessary.
- Report repairs during when needed
- Ensure full/proper communication/data entry, operation, updates and opening/closure of service orders within Breezeway
- Valid drivers license
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: Ability to deal with all types of personalities. Computer operation and experience required. Strong customer service skills, organization and problem-solving skills. Must be able to remain courteous and collected when assisting Guests and Owners. Previous property inspection needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to See, Stand, Walk a minimum of 8 hrs , Lift (up to 60 lbs), Carry, Bend, Reach, Twist, withstand high temperatures/humidity conditions.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Field Environment 90%. Indoors 10%. Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.
EDUCATIONS: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE: 1 yr minimum of inspections (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
