Summary

Wayman College of Aeronautics is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and safety minded individuals to join our Line and Facility Services Support team as Aircraft Fuelers. This position is essential to the safe and efficient operation of flight line activities, including aircraft fueling, ramp safety, and general line service support.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and professionalism while supporting students, staff, instructors, and visiting pilots. This role also contributes to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming campus environment.

Essential Functions

Aircraft Fueling and Line Services

· Safely fuel aircraft in accordance with established fueling procedures, safety protocols, and company policies

· Perform pre fueling and post fueling checks to ensure equipment and aircraft fueling areas are safe and operational

· Operate fueling equipment and tools responsibly while adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines

· Monitor ramp and ramp side activities to maintain a safe, secure, and organized operating environment

· Assist flight operations personnel, instructors, students, and visiting pilots with line service needs as required

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ramp, fueling areas, and related equipment to support operational readiness

· Report any safety concerns, spills, equipment issues, or hazards to leadership promptly

Facility and Grounds Support

· Assist with light outdoor maintenance tasks, including general cleanup and upkeep of campus grounds and common areas

· Support basic facility related tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Physical Demands

· Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods

· Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, wind, and rain

Required Education and Experience

· Valid driver’s license

· Ability to follow safety procedures, fueling protocols, and operational guidelines

· Comfortable performing hands on work in both indoor and outdoor environments

Preferred Education and Experience

· Prior experience in aircraft fueling, aviation line service, ramp operations, or facilities maintenance

· Experience driving light/heavy trucks/vans

· Interest in aviation, airport operations, or technical services
