We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Housekeeping Houseman to join our hospitality team! Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and service spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance standards are met.
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, or supplies as needed to facilitate deep cleaning or room setup.
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Follow established health and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas to ensure consistent availability of essentials.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating with colleagues to meet daily cleanliness goals efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Prior hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of custodial practices with an eye for detail.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork.
