Teach in paradise. Our beautiful campus located in historical old town Key West offers authentic Montessori curriculum for students ages 18 months - 9th grade. We are the only fully accredited Montessori school in the county.
We are seeking a certified Montessori Lower Elementary lead guide to join our collaborative vibrant and supportive community. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Montessori pedagogy and education and the practical ability to give lessons, plan, organize and respectfully and kindly communicate with students, staff and families.
Responsibilities
- Lead a Lower Elementary Montessori classroom
- Present Montessori lessons in math, language, science, and cultural studies
- Guide student research and independent projects
- Foster a respectful and collaborative classroom community
- Communicate with families about student progress
- Work in tandem with other Lower Elementary classroom
Qualifications
- Lower Elementary certification from a MACTE accredited training program.
- Both LE & UE preferred but not necessary
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience teaching grades 1-3
- Passion for Montessori education and child development
- Willing to relocate
