Responsibilities
- Assist with lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy, lush lawns.
- Support landscape maintenance activities including pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to enhance landscape aesthetics.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks, including trimming bushes and installing garden features.
- Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of plants and lawns.
- Contribute to snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible.
- Support the setup and repair of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance on job sites.
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, or horticulture principles is beneficial.
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are essential.
