THE COMPANY
Momentum Concierge produces authentic and compelling guest experiences that emphasize the natural world, art, literature, music, food, history, and local characters. We manage VIP concierge services, produce engaging media content, and provide marketing programs for a select portfolio of local businesses.
Momentum also manages a full-service concierge call center and operates the Welcome Lounge Galleria in Old Town Key West. Momentum is also the publisher of OurKeyWest lifestyle magazine.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The OKW Gallery Associate, Marketer & Concierge is a human encyclopedia of Key West art, history, and compelling things to do in Key West. You are a gracious island host and hospitality expert who engages with our guests on the phone and in person, listening to and understanding our guests’ needs and expectations.
Primarily, you will be discussing and selling OKW art, gifts and apparel, and geared to exceed guest expectations and achieve sales goals. You will be expected to be fluent in OKW activity offerings-- working in tandem with our concierges to fulfill a well-rounded guest experience.
You are a brand ambassador for the OKW portfolio of Key West Activities, connecting with other hospitality professionals across Key West.
Additional activities include provisioning services for local vacation homes, help with special events, and trips to the bank, post office, etc.
Experience Required
Minimum 3 years in Key West
Background in retail sales, hospitality, F&B, and/or concierge
Temperament
Gracious, Charming, Focused Listener, Persuasive, Persistent, Detail Oriented, Self-Directed, Excellent Follow-Through, Fun!

- Must currently reside in Key West
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Proficiency with Google Suite and able to learn new software quickly

Gallery & Concierge Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Daily
- Opening & Closing Procedures
- Greet Guests in Person and on Phone.
- Complete guest transactions efficiently
- Review & generate leads and updates from colleagues (Slack)
- Close the sale and create booking confirmation task in Slack
- Every guest interaction whether it be sale or inquiry added to GRM database: Lead/Contact info and notes
- Achieve daily sales goals
- Reconcile cash drawer (every shift)
Weekly
- Achieve weekly sales goals
- Follow weekly cleaning & maintenance procedures
- Guest provisioning deliveries
Monthly
- Participate in sales meeting
- Attend Concierge events
- Achieve monthly sales goals
Art & Retail Metrics
- # of Transactions per month

Compensation
- $20 per hour
- 5% Commission on Art & Retail Sales
- Monthly Concierge Performance Bonus
