.· Independently operate, adjust, repair, and maintain industrial waste treatment systems and equipment*. Maintain surveillance of check stations, gauges and recorders of the various systems and equipment to ensure that the treatment of industrial wastes** complies with established standards. ·
Adjust chemical feed and pumping rates to compensate for various types of wastes and influent fluctuations to maintain adequate treatment.
·Diagnose and correct malfunctions in industrial waste systems and equipment.
350,000 gallons of water treated/day from tank cleaning systems.
Tank lines – Mechanical systems are underground (plumbing work).
Tanks – circulation, agitation (air), heat (steam). Most complex wastewater treatment system of all sites.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $33.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 60 per week
