Housekeeper Wanted Days Full Time Islamorada
Private Estate with one Family and Guests. Looking for energetic self-motivated Live-Out Housekeeper for cleaning, organizing, flower arranging, laundry, kitchen cleaning and dish washing with occasional serving. The candidate must be proficient in English, able to follow directions, comfortable with the family’s two large dogs and child friendly. Four days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday), 8:00am – 4:00pm, starting November 17 to first week in June. June to October less days.

Responsibilities:
- Laundry Management:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing, linens, and other textiles according to care instructions and preferences.
- Handle delicate fabrics, stains, and special care items with attention to detail and care.
- Follow specific care instructions for different fabrics and materials to ensure their longevity and pristine condition.
- Maintain laundry equipment and supplies, including regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Garment Care:
- Follow specific instructions for garment care, including mending, alterations, and storage.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized garment care services as needed (dry cleaning, seamstress, etc.).
- Organization and Inventory:
- Organize and maintain linens to uphold the highest standards of presentation.
- Keep track of inventory levels for clothing, linens, and other textiles, and communicate any needs or concerns to the Executive Personal Assistant.
- Maintain organization and orderliness in laundry storage areas and closets.
- Adherence to Standards:
- Adhere to specific instructions and preferences provided by the principals regarding laundry products and techniques.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding the principal’s personal information and garment care preferences.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the household and its occupants at all times.
- Respect the privacy of the family and adhere to professional boundaries.
Qualifications:
- Strong, verifiable employment references.
- Excellent knowledge of laundry products, equipment, and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly in managing clothing and linens.
- Proven experience as a Laundress in a high-end household or similar environment.
- Excellent knowledge of garment care techniques and fabric types.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of laundry, ironing, hand-washing fine fabrics, steaming, and stain removal
- Professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Must be willing to sign an NDA
- Must be okay with large dog
- Sewing or seamstress capabilities is a bonus!
- Styling capabilities also a bonus!

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
