We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Uphold company policies regarding food handling and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or food preparation is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- A genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
