Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and ensuring a positive entertainment experience. The Sales Associate/Server will play a key role in driving sales and maintaining the overall presentation of the business.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, handling transactions with precision.
- Assist in maintaining stock levels by organizing merchandise on the sales floor and restocking as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Obtain food handler certification (in house training)
- Prepare and deliver simple food items.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and assisting with pricing inquiries.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- A proactive attitude towards learning about products and services offered.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
