Job Summary
A Director of Operations will oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures while being responsible for the efficiency and sustainable growth of the business by following up not only on a weekly and monthly basis but daily as well.
The DO role is a key member of leadership, reporting directly to the company President. The expectation is to be an inspirational, effective, and efficient leader. People development, excellent people skills and exemplary work ethic is a requirement of the position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead with a welcoming, upbeat, positive attitude to manage a sizable, geographically disbursed network of stores.
- Develop districts, stores and managers who exceed guest expectations, grow sales, and maximize profit by rigorously selecting, diligently training and thoughtfully coaching and mentoring staff.
- Evaluate performance of restaurant leadership based on both personal growth, performance, and financial success.
- Manage operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, plans, and policies of the organization.
- Ensure all stores are adequately staffed with quality Team Members.
- Develop and implement monthly payroll budgets and monthly and quarterly food cost targets.
- Accountable for the daily operations of the stores in your market, including food safety, maintenance, and all administrative requirements.
- Manage your markets P&L including cost of goods sold and operating expenses.
- Follow up on all customer and employee complaints and ensure necessary corrective measures at store level.
- Work closely with leadership team to identify and communicate trends identified in the business to facilitate positive change across the organization.
- Coordinate all activities associated with timely new store openings.
Education/Experience:
- Proven experience as a successful Director of Operations.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of restaurant operations. Drive-thru experience a plus.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Strong financial background, analytical skills and understanding of P&L’s.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- College degree preferred.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Repetitive motion including bending, stooping and reaching.
- Ability to lift items including boxes, baskets and pails up to 50lbs.
- Required travel between restaurants
Must have reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
