Job Overview

Duties

Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required for construction tasks.
Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Assemble and install marine structures according to schematics and project specifications.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with equipment and machinery.
Work collaboratively with a team of service technicians and mechanics to ensure project milestones are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Rig materials and equipment as necessary for construction activities.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation is essential.
Mechanical knowledge is required; experience as a mechanic or service technician is a plus.
Ability to read calipers and understand schematics for assembly processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions on water-based projects.
A background in militarized environments or similar construction settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
