Summary
We are seeking a passionate Marketing Specialist to join our team at Marine Resources Development Foundation. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting our brand, educational programs, and outreach initiatives through various marketing channels. Your efforts will help us engage with the community and enhance our mission of marine education. You will also support our donor stewardship efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote MarineLab programs.
- Create compelling copy for various platforms including websites, social media, and print materials.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for outreach.
- Manage social media accounts to increase engagement and awareness of our initiatives.
- Design visually appealing graphics for promotional materials.
- Optimize website content to improve user experience.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with educational staff to align messaging with program goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in copywriting and content creation for diverse audiences.
- Strong research skills to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
- Experience with social media marketing and managing online communities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with graphic design principles is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of website management is advantageous.
- Understanding of performance marketing techniques is a plus.
- Passion for marine education and environmental conservation.
- Must like working with students from grades 5 through college

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
