Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pool maintenance and repair, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role involves ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and functioning optimally for our clients. As a Pool Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our services and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for pool repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Inspect pool equipment for functionality and perform necessary repairs.
- Test water quality and balance chemicals to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to pool systems and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used.
- Follow safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating equipment.
Requirements
- MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER; NO FELONY CONVICTIONS; CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE; MUST SPEAK AND READ ENGLISH
- Proven experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair pool equipment effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to use technology to log pool maintenance and work orders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is required to drive company vehicle.
- Must pass back ground check to go into Ocean Reef Club for maintenance visits.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
