Catering, Events and Property Activations Manager
Margaritaville Beach House is looking for a Catering, Events & Property Activations Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities:
· Providing the personal touch for each client
· Networking and soliciting new business
· Event planning and attention to detail
· Communication with clients
· Negotiating and closing contracts for all catered events
· Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including planning, organizing, and executing events from BEO to Billing
· Collaborate with clients to create customized menus and event plans
· Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food production
· Manage banquet and catering staff
· Maintain inventory of catering supplies and equipment
· Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly
· Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors
· Directly responsible for activating hotel amenities to enhance the guest experience and create activations that aligns with hotel’s adventurous spirit.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a catering or banquet management role
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Knowledge of food production and presentation techniques
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
