MIDLEVEL PROVIDER (KEY WEST)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Urgent Care team. The ideal candidate will have a background in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice, with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of acute conditions independently.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform minor procedures (e.g., laceration repair, splinting, abscess drainage)
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, EKGs, and lab work
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the EMR
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Current and valid PA or NP licensure in Florida
- Certification by NCCPA (for PAs) or AANP/ANCC (for NPs)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or related field
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
