Alpha Medicine and Rehab is a facility specializing in rehabilitation services such as physical therapy, orthopedics, pain management and neurology. We offer services aimed at helping individuals recover from injuries, surgeries, and other medical conditions with the goal of restoring function and overall quality of life.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, licensed and compassionate PTA to join our team. As a PTA, you will provide therapeutic exercises to patients, helping them alleviate pain, and improve overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
-PTA will work under the general supervision of a PT/NP.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
-Monitor and record patient progress.
-Administer modalities such as ultrasound, Tens, hot/cold packs.
-Perform manual therapy techniques such as vibration, IASTM, trigger point therapy.
-Prepare daily notes and billling.
- Collaborate with our healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance the benefits of their care.
Skills we are looking for:
-Effiecient note taking/submitting skills
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on providing a comfortable and relaxing experience.
-Effectively demonstrate exercises and evaluate patient technique.
-Previous experience dealing with personal injury patients is a plus.
-Bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus.
