Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure all public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained
- Change bed linens and towels, restock amenities, and ensure rooms are prepared for new guests
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning and floor care techniques
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred
- Familiarity with janitorial or custodial practices is a plus
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks when necessary
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management abilities to complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
